Bled, Slovenia
Bled is one of Slovenia’s most beautiful alpine tourism centers, world famous for its lake and the island. The beauty of the mountains reflected on the calm surface of the lake. The sun, fresh air and peace guarantee that the visitor will feel comfortable all year round. Bled Castle, one of the greatest monuments of the country, stands on a rock above the lake. Today it is home to several exhibits: a historical exhibition, the castle press, the basement and the plant gallery. The island of Bled with the Church of St. Mary is one of the most famous images in Slovenia. 99 stone steps leading to the platform where the church bell tower, the head of the house, the House chaplain and a small chapel. Of course, no visit to the island is complete without the famous “pletna” ride. The city attracts businessmen, artists, athletes, researchers, recreationists, old and young people from all over the World. Everyone can find something of interest. Bled is also famous for its culinary treasure-the cream slice.
